To deliver the highest level of service, it is imperative that we fully understand the goals and long-term strategic plans of our clients so that we can incorporate them in our benefits planning process.

The approach we utilize is a seven-step process:

Discovery

  • Review state of the company, financial status, and relevant company
  • Ascertain corporate goals and objectives, and strategies
  • Analyze current benefits plan
  • Assess employer/employee tolerance for change
  • Collect current benefit plan specifications

Planning

  • Prepare Request for Proposal (RFP)
  • Assess viable provider/TPA candidates
  • Manage RFP response time line

Evaluation

  • Analyze RFP responses
  • Negotiate and fine-tune candidate proposals
  • Negotiate pricing and performance guarantees
  • Prepare executive summary of finalists' proposals

Recommendation

  • Presentation of findings to client
  • Offer recommendations and evaluative support

Implementation

  • Prepare implementation time line
  • Manage benefit communications and enrollment
  • Manage carrier delivery

Compliance

  • Prepare health and welfare 5500's
  • Prepare ERISA summary annual reports
  • Review SPD's service contracts and plan amendments
  • Educate/advise clients on regulatory changes
( i.e., HIPAA, FMLA, ERISA)

Continuous Client Service

  • Designated, licensed, Client Service Manager
  • Online client newsletter
  • Semi-annual seminar series
  • Quarterly client meetings and mid-year pre-renewal review
